he Eating Disorder Foundation is a non-profit resource center to the general public and the medical community in the collective effort to prevent and eliminate eating disorders. The Foundation engages in education and advocacy initiatives together with timely support and help in identifying appropriate treatment options for individuals with eating disorders and their families.
The Empowerment Program provides education, employment assistance, health, housing referrals, and support services for women in disadvantaged positions.
With a rich tradition of helping the needs of changing families, Family Life Services has its’ roots in a history serving Colorado Springs. Originally named The Christian Home for Children, the 2.5 acre property, donated to John and Nan Walden, became home to 34 orphaned children in 1942 before ultimately refining its’ mission in the 80’s to focus on rebuilding the lives of single moms and their children. Today we help keep children out of the foster care system by keeping them with their moms when at all possible.

It is the nation’s largest nonprofit treatment provider, with a legacy that began in 1949 and includes the 1982 founding of the Betty Ford Center.
