With a rich tradition of helping the needs of changing families, Family Life Services has its’ roots in a history serving Colorado Springs. Originally named The Christian Home for Children, the 2.5 acre property, donated to John and Nan Walden, became home to 34 orphaned children in 1942 before ultimately refining its’ mission in the 80’s to focus on rebuilding the lives of single moms and their children. Today we help keep children out of the foster care system by keeping them with their moms when at all possible.
