Monetary Donations

Unrestricted Funds

A donation of unrestricted funds for general operating costs allows Friends of the Haven to direct your donation to the women, programs, and facilities that need the most help.  Friends of the Haven works closely with The Haven and Baby Haven management teams to ensure that the most critical needs re being met and that the most important improvements are being made. 

Restricted Funds

Some Donors have something more specific in mind for their donation.  There are many options available, and we are happy to help you identify the best fit.  Restricted fund options are listed below:

Electronic Health Records

An Electronic Health Records system is required in order for ARTS/The Haven clients to continue to access to primary and behavioral health care through Federally Qualified Health Centers.

Doula Program

Doulas provide care, comfort measures and case management to pregnant women and women with infant children.

Mental Health Support

70% of women at The Haven have a mental health concern.  It should be treated in tandem with their addiction to support recovery.

Infant Mental Health

 

The Infant Mental Health team fosters mother & child bonding and attachment, family success through engagement and education, does developmental screenings and supports teachers efforts to create good learning environments.

Culinary Training Program

 

Provides quality nutrition to women in the program and prepares them for work through the culinary training.  Helping women and the Haven become self-sufficient, one meal at a time.
