Dr. Stacey Bromberg

Dr. Stacey Bromberg is an Instructor in the Psychiatry Department at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She is the Harris/ Haven Program Coordinator for the Irving Harris Program in Child Development and Infant Mental Health. Dr. Bromberg is the Infant Mental Health Specialist at the Haven, a residential therapeutic treatment community for women struggling with drug addiction. Her clinical work at the Haven focuses on providing comprehensive, integrated infant and adult mental health treatment, with specialized consultation and intervention for issues related to pregnancy, child birth, and parenting for those women who are pregnant and/or parenting infants residing with them in addiction treatment. She is responsible for coordination and implementation of community-based Doula training and she provides clinical and group supervision to the community-based doulas currently working with pregnant and parenting women in treatment at The Haven. Dr.Bromberg is a graduate of St. John’s University in New York where she received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a focus in Clinical Child Psychology and a specialization in Marital and Family Therapy. She completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Irving Harris Program in Child Development and Infant Mental Health at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center. Currently, Dr. Bromberg teaches courses for the Harris Program at the University and is a supervising psychologist for postdoctoral fellows.
