Danielle Meir



Danielle Meir
joined The Haven Mother's House as the Doula Supervisor in June, 2007 and has since been promoted to the Mother's House I and II Program Coordinator.   Ms. Meir has over 12 years working with families of young children. Her past work experiences include teaching preschool, working as a childcare provider, and working as a child development specialist on an early intervention team. Ms. Meir has received specialized training in early childhood development, early intervention, early literacy, and infant mental health.  She received her Bachelors Degree in Health Care Administration with a special emphasis on programs serving families with young children who have special needs from Baker College, Owosso, Michigan. She received her Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health Endorsement through Wayne State University, Merrill Palmer Institute, Detroit, Michigan and she
is a trainer for the Chicago Health Connection Community Based Doula program at the Haven Mother’s House. Ms. Meir has also completed all of her CAC II training  and is in the process of applying for her CAC II as well as completing her CAC III courses.
